Yearly update, I guess
I haven’t been posting for quite a while. Here’s a bunch of updates that happened during the year:
- I’ve changed my primary job to a more challenging one
- I’m no longer actively working at Barter
(the website is still working and available)
- We’ve built a project that is actually bringing value to real people: reactive.place
- I’ve built a chess engine in Rust
that is currently able to play at ~1800 ELO at Lichess: chessnost
- I’ve finally got braces set up
- I’ve managed to get 2nd PBH Visa 🇵🇱 (hell that wasn’t easy)
I have quite a few writing ideas stacked up. Some of them are not relevant anymore, some of them are not so interesting to me anymore, but some of them are still good. I’m also probably gonna dive into some topics mentioned above at some point.
One other thing that I’m kinda proud about is that my workflow almost has not changed. To me it simply means I’m on a right track - using good future-proof tools, not spending countless hours trying to reach perfection, and minimizing mental overhead.
